Overcoming odds, be it a military battle or something more mundane in our work life, almost always provides us
with a lesson for the future. At this year’s MEMIC Comp Summit, our speakers’ set of experiences provide great
lessons for work and life, and we hope you’ll want to join us to hear from them.
From Sgt. Matt Eversmann whose character was revealed in the Battle of Mogadishu to Lynn Donohue who rose to the very top of her profession in the construction trades to the specific tips in our Friday breakout sessions, you’ll find lessons and inspiration in the stories.
As is the case each year, the goal of the MEMIC Comp Summit—our 12th annual, free conference for MEMIC policyholders—is to provide you with a chance to learn more about how to reduce injuries and costs associated with workers’ compensation while also getting to know your MEMIC contacts and fellow policyholders.
Our agenda includes a talk by Roger Sevigny, one of the nation’s leading insurance industry regulators, and Steve Rowe, Attorney General of Maine, who will speak about the insidious nature of identity theft – a timely issue for us all. Friday’s menu of breakout sessions is loaded with great topics to help you improve your workers’ comp program.
Of course, as always, we’ll have some fun as well. You’ll have the chance to mingle with some 500 fellow policyholders, members of MEMIC’s staff and two dozen exhibitors. And, Thursday night, we’ll be joined by comedian Jimmy Dunn whose good humor is enjoyed by audiences across the country (but especially in New England).
So, register today and plan to join us for our favorite event of the year.
This conference is FREE for MEMIC policyholders. You pay only for your hotel room reservation.
